Lesson Fees & Policy

Fees

+ Fees are payable at the time of booking.

Trial lesson

+ 30 minutes: £25

Regular lessons

+ 60 minutes: £65

+ For very young beginners, such as children aged 5–6, a shorter 45-minute lesson may be recommended where more appropriate. This can be discussed after the trial lesson.

+ Fees are reviewed annually and may increase by up to 5% each academic year. Any fee increase will be communicated in writing with at least 30 days’ notice.

Booking, Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refunds

+ Lessons are booked in advance in blocks of 10 sessions.

+ Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson.

+ If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, the lesson will be forfeited and no refund will be available for that lesson.

+ Where possible, I will try to offer an alternative time for rescheduled lessons, but this cannot always be guaranteed.

+ If I need to cancel a lesson, the lesson will be rescheduled or credited.

Mode of Lesson

+ Most lessons are conducted face-to-face at my studio in South Hampstead, NW6.

Instruments and Materials

+ Students must bring their own cello to lessons.

+ Additional learning materials may be provided, but students are required to purchase and bring their own books when requested.
