About

With over 15 years of teaching experience, I have guided students from their very first lesson through to advanced levels, with many progressing to complete Grade 8 and beyond under my instruction. My teaching combines deep pedagogical knowledge with real-world musical insight gained through an active professional performance career.

I offer highly personalised lessons tailored to each student’s goals, learning style, and musical interests. For young beginners, I draw on elements of the Suzuki method and Solfège to build strong musical foundations in listening, technique, and confidence. Students preparing for ABRSM and Trinity College exams benefit from structured technical training and refined musical interpretation, helping them achieve consistently strong results.

For adult learners, lessons focus on developing practical musicianship and enjoyment, enabling students to play music they love while building solid technique and musical understanding.

Based in North West London, I offer a supportive yet ambitious learning environment that encourages creativity, discipline, and artistic curiosity. Many of my students have gone on to achieve distinctions in grade examinations, scholarships, and competition awards, reflecting the high standards and dedication I bring to my teaching.

Alongside teaching, I maintain an active performance career. I have performed at prestigious venues including Wigmore Hall, St James's Piccadilly, and Royal Opera House. I have also recorded at renowned studios such as Abbey Road Studios and RAK Studios.

My repertoire spans both classical and contemporary music, and I regularly perform at cultural events including the Embassy Series at St Martin-in-the-Fields, the Korean Music Festival and international music festivals across Europe.

Teaching is deeply personal to me. Just as my own teachers shaped my musical journey, I aim to inspire and support each student to reach their full artistic potential—whether they aspire to pursue music professionally or simply wish to experience the joy and enrichment that music brings.
